SCF was founded by Dr. Voonna Murali Krishna, a renowned surgical oncologist hailing from the city of Visakhapatnam, along with likeminded, philanthropists and well-known personalities from different walks of life, contemplating over the felt needs of the marginalized cancer patients for their medical, psycho-social care and empowering them.

SCF is registered with Ministry of Corporate affairs, Government of India, for undertaking Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) activities vide registration number CSR00017027. It is also registered under section 80G of Indian Income tax enabling donors to claim deduction on the contributions to SCF.

SCF is a catalyst organization complimenting and assisting the government’s efforts in fighting cancer and today the foundation is governed by an independent board with highly reputed personalities from all walks of life

Our organization, SCF is the only one charitable foundation in and around Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh actively trying to create tangible solutions to the problems & pains that the people are facing due to Cancer.
